02 — WHAT WE COLLECT
Information we collect
This is an information website with a contact form. We only collect what you actively choose to send us. We do not require you to create an account, and we do not sell products through the site.
WHAT
WHEN & WHY
Your name
When you submit the contact form, so we can reply to you.
Your email address
When you submit the contact form, so we can respond to your enquiry.
Your message & any details you include
The content of what you send us — for example, what you're looking for from training.
03 — HEALTH INFORMATION
Sensitive health data
Because StrongHer Coaching offers personal training, you may choose to tell us about your health, fitness level, injuries, or medical background — either through the contact form or later in conversation. This is treated as special category data and given extra protection.
We only use it to assess whether and how we can safely train you.
We rely on your explicit consent (Article 9(2)(a) GDPR) to hold this information, which you give by choosing to send it to us.
You can withdraw that consent at any time by emailing us, and we will delete it unless we're legally required to keep it.
We never share it with anyone else without your clear permission.
04 — WHY WE'RE ALLOWED TO USE IT
Our legal basis
Under GDPR we must have a lawful reason to process your information. Ours are:
Consent — you actively submit the contact form and choose what to include. You can withdraw consent at any time.
Legitimate interests — responding to your enquiry and running the business in a reasonable way, balanced against your privacy.
Explicit consent — for any health information, as described in Section 03.
05 — HOW WE HANDLE IT
Storage, sharing & retention
Where your data goes
When you contact us, your message reaches us via direct email. We keep enquiry emails in our business email account.
Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We only share it where necessary with:
Our email and form providers, who store the data on our behalf under their own security terms.
Authorities or advisors, only where we're legally required to.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry information only as long as needed to deal with your request and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you get back in touch. If you become a client, separate records may be kept for as long as our working relationship and legal obligations require.
06 — COOKIES
Cookies & third-party links
This website does not use tracking or analytics cookies, and we don't run advertising pixels or profile your browsing.
Our site includes a link to book through Google Calendar. When you click it, you leave our website and are taken to Google, whose own Privacy Policy and cookie practices then apply. We have no control over, and take no responsibility for, how Google handles your data.
07 — YOUR RIGHTS
Your rights under GDPR
You have the following rights over your personal information. To use any of them, just email us at sally@stronghercoaching.ie.
Access — ask for a copy of the information we hold about you.
Rectification — have inaccurate or incomplete information corrected.
Erasure — ask us to delete your information where there's no reason to keep it.
Restriction — ask us to pause how we use your information.
Objection — object to us using your information based on legitimate interests.
Withdraw consent — withdraw consent at any time, without affecting past processing.
We'll respond to any request within one month. There's normally no charge.
Complaints
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Irish supervisory authority, the Data Protection Commission: dataprotection.ie. We'd appreciate the chance to put things right first, so please do contact us before you do.
08 — SECURITY & CHANGES
Keeping your data safe
We take reasonable steps to protect your information — including secure, password-protected accounts and limiting who can see your data. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work to protect what you send us.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always shown on this page with the “last updated” date at the top.
